Step into a slow, sun-soaked moment of creativity and learn how to paint a vibrant Mediterranean-inspired tablescape in our Sardines and Lemons Watercolour Workshop with artist Judy Salleh.
Inspired by long lunches, citrus tones, and coastal charm, this relaxed watercolour painting class in Sydney is designed to help you unwind, build confidence, and reconnect with your creativity. Whether you are completely new to painting or looking to refresh your skills, you will be gently guided every step of the way.
Over three nourishing hours, you will explore the beauty of watercolour techniques while creating your own expressive artwork. Expect a calm, welcoming studio environment where you can slow down, learn something new, and enjoy the simple joy of painting.
Judy will guide you through the essentials, helping you feel comfortable and confident with your materials while keeping things light and enjoyable.
You will learn:
- Essential watercolour techniques including brush strokes and blending
- How to mix colours to create light, mid, and dark tones
- How to build a harmonious colour palette
- How to choose and use the right brushes
By the end of the workshop, you will not only have a finished piece, but also the confidence and skills to create your own watercolour tablescapes at home.

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received.
Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.
We do require a minimum number of people to run each class. In the rare event we do not meet the minimum numbers required to run a class, you will be offered your choice of a class transfer to a new date or a full refund.
In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
Whilst arriving, attending and leaving the workshops, it is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain and adhere to all safety precautions and requirements during the workshop. Little Lane workshops and the attending creatives hold no personal liability or responsibility for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property, or any physical injuries obtained during the workshop. By attending a workshop, you agree in holding full responsibility and liability for any damages, injuries to parties involved and physical and/or personal property that may occur during the workshop.
