ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Ashlea Vallance
Ashlea's journey into the vibrant world of screen printing began with a spark of inspiration at a workshop hosted by Little Lane Workshops. What started as a creative exploration quickly blossomed into a full-fledged passion, leading to the birth of The Screenery.
At The Screenery, Ashlea combines her love for bright, bold colours with eco-friendly practices, creating unique and colourful handmade products. Each piece is screen printed directly onto premium linen tea towels, cushion covers, aprons, table runners, and napkin sets. With a commitment to quality and sustainability, Ashlea uses water-based eco-friendly inks, ensuring that every product is as kind to the planet as it is beautiful.
Ashlea's dedication to her craft has led to remarkable highlights, including custom printed napkins, aprons, and tea towels for Team NSW on My Kitchen Rules. Her work was prominently featured in the instant restaurant settings and used by culinary icons Nigella Lawson and Manu Feildel.
Ashlea's journey has come full circle, as she now returns to Little Lane Workshops—not as a student, but as an instructor. She is thrilled to share her expertise and passion for screen printing with others, guiding them through the process and helping them discover the joy of creating their own unique pieces.
