In this mosaic workshop with artist Meredith Scott, you will be taught the principles of mosaic art.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and create your own masterpiece.
You will be shown how to cut (using round wheel cutters) and fix glass tiles within your choice of a mandala sketch or freeform design and how to grout your artwork.
You will take home your finished piece, the size of a round placemat that can be used as a wall hanging or a trivet.
This class is suitable for ages 15 and up and no experience is necessary.
No previous experience is necessary.
All materials are provided including nibbles & refreshments.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Mosaic Artist Meredith Scott has been involved with mosaics for the last 15 years.
With a background as an art therapist she has used many art and craft modalities but has been teaching mosaics for the past 10 years.
" My art and technical studies in Italy, USA and Australia have given me teaching skills to make the most of my favourite material - glass and mosaics which involves the placing of small pieces of beautiful materials (called tesserae) enables so many endless possibilities that it truly captured my imagination.
My mosaic career has taken me around Australia as a Guest Artist, trade shows in Artisan Lanes, Artists Trails and to creating many installations and commissions.
