Join us and learn how to paint stunning watercolour native florals with artist Vinaya Muralidharan. This is the perfect class for both beginners and those looking to learn new styles and techniques.
This 3-hour guided watercolour class is perfect for beginners and anyone looking to loosen up their painting style, build confidence, and enjoy the calming, mindful process of painting with watercolour.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
In the first half of the class, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the foundations of watercolour painting, including:
- Essential watercolour techniques
- Colour theory and how to mix beautiful, harmonious colours

How to paint a variety of beautiful Australian Native florals
- Creating balance and flow in your compositions
You’ll learn individual floral elements that can be mixed and matched to create art, cards, gift tags and bookmarks.
In the second half of the class, you’ll be gently supported as you create your own unique native floral composition. You’ll receive personalised guidance to help you:
- Choose a cohesive colour palette
- Confidently mix your own colours
- Bring your floral artwork together into a finished piece

- Open age class – suitable for ages 12+
- As this is an open age class - children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
- No previous experience required – perfect for beginners

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received.
Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.
We do require a minimum number of people to run each class. In the rare event we do not meet the minimum numbers required to run a class, you will be offered your choice of a class transfer to a new date or a full refund.
In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
Whilst arriving, attending and leaving the workshops, it is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain and adhere to all safety precautions and requirements during the workshop. Little Lane workshops and the attending creatives hold no personal liability or responsibility for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property, or any physical injuries obtained during the workshop.
