Join leather artist Silvia Guerrera for a hands-on Leather Journal Workshop where slow craft meets timeless design.
In this creative workshop, you’ll work with beautifully coloured, polished, vegetable-tanned leather to create your own handcrafted leather journal from start to finish. Designed for beginners and curious creatives alike, this session gently guides you through traditional leatherworking techniques in a relaxed, supportive setting.
Your main leather pieces will be pre-cut for ease of assembly, allowing you to focus on learning essential skills including cutting, trimming, hole punching, saddle stitching with waxed thread, edge burnishing, conditioning leather, and assembling your journal with confidence.
You’ll also learn how to burnish leather edges for a smooth, professional finish and have the option to emboss your initials to make your journal uniquely yours.
A smart A5 journal insert is included, ready to be filled with sketches, thoughts, lists, or creative ideas long after the workshop ends.
PLEASE NOTE: This class is suitable for age 12 and over and for safety reasons, we request that guests wear fully enclosed shoes.

Workshop Details
- Open age class – suitable for ages 12+
- As this is an open age class - children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
- No previous experience required – perfect for beginners

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received.
Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.
We do require a minimum number of people to run each class. In the rare event we do not meet the minimum numbers required to run a class, you will be offered your choice of a class transfer to a new date or a full refund.
In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
Whilst arriving, attending and leaving the workshops, it is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain and adhere to all safety precautions and requirements during the workshop. Little Lane workshops and the attending creatives hold no personal liability or responsibility for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property, or any physical injuries obtained during the workshop. By attending a workshop, you agree in holding full responsibility and liability for any damages, injuries to parties involved and physical and/or personal property that may occur during the workshop.
