Are you ready to learn how to sew and unlock a new creative skill? Join us for a Beginner Sewing Workshop with Silvana Krasic from Beaches Sewing, designed for anyone wanting to learn how to confidently use a sewing machine.
Whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine before or you’ve had a go and want to build your skills, this 2.5-hour sewing class will give you the knowledge and confidence to get started.

What You’ll Learn in This Workshop
- By the end of the session, you will:
- Set up a sewing machine and use it with confidence
- Troubleshoot and resolve common sewing issues
- Learn the best techniques for handling different fabrics
- Create your own simple drawstring bag to take home
Machines Are Provided: We will be using Janome DC250 sewing machines (all provided by us for you to use)
Guidance & Advice: If you’re considering purchasing your own sewing machine, Silvana can guide you in choosing the right one for your ongoing projects

Please Note: This class will be held in Studio 2 which is upstairs and unfortunately does not have wheelchair access.
Workshop Details
- Open age class – suitable for ages 12+
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult
- No previous experience required – perfect for beginners
- All materials included plus light refreshments

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received.
Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.
We do require a minimum number of people to run each class. In the rare event we do not meet the minimum numbers required to run a class, you will be offered your choice of a class transfer to a new date or a full refund.
In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
Whilst arriving, attending and leaving the workshops, it is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain and adhere to all safety precautions and requirements during the workshop. Little Lane workshops and the attending creatives hold no personal liability or responsibility for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property, or any physical injuries obtained during the workshop. By attending a workshop, you agree in holding full responsibility and liability for any damages, injuries to parties involved and physical and/or personal property that may occur during the workshop.
