Embroidered Felt Purse Workshop

Join felt artist Mirka Jakusova from A Pocket Full of Whimsy and discover the beauty of hand stitching and working with natural fibres in this relaxing embroidered wool felt purse workshop.

In this hands-on class, Mirka will guide you step by step through the process of creating a beautiful embroidered purse using wool felt. You will learn how to choose the right felt, threads and stitching techniques to create a seamless design that is both practical and beautiful.

Throughout the workshop, Mirka will share her expertise in hand embroidery, wool felt crafting and traditional stitching techniques. You will learn how different stitches and threads can transform a simple piece of felt into a unique handmade purse.

This class is suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced stitchers who would like to improve their embroidery skills and learn new techniques.

By the end of the workshop you will have gained valuable knowledge about working with wool felt, embroidery stitches and handmade textile design that you can apply to future sewing and craft projects.

Please note that depending on your stitching pace you may or may not finish your purse during the class. However, you will leave with everything you need to complete your project at home, along with the skills and confidence to continue exploring hand embroidery and wool felt craft.

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received.

Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.

We do require a minimum number of people to run each class. In the rare event we do not meet the minimum numbers required to run a class, you will be offered your choice of a class transfer to a new date or a full refund.

In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
