Come and get a little festive with us as we create the sweetest needle felted Christmas decorations, perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree, decorating your home or giving as gorgeous handmade gifts to someone special.
In this lovely, relaxed Christmas needle felting workshop, you'll learn how to transform beautiful, soft merino wool roving into charming little festive artworks, framed in their very own miniature embroidery hoops.
If you've never tried needle felting before, you're in for a treat! There's something wonderfully satisfying about taking fluffy wool and, with a little patience and a special felting needle, turning it into something beautiful.
You'll learn the basics of needle felting, including how to work with wool fibres, build up your designs and add those lovely little details that make each decoration your own.
During this workshop you'll:
-
Learn the basics of needle felting, perfect for complete beginners
-
Discover how to work with beautiful merino wool roving
-
Learn how to build up colour, texture and detail using a felting needle
-
Create your own gorgeous festive needle felted hoop decorations
-
Enjoy experimenting with different colours and Christmas-inspired designs
-
Take home a kit so you can continue creating your set of three Christmas hoops
And because we know how lovely it is to keep the creativity going, you'll also receive a take-home needle felting kit so you can finish your beautiful set of three decorations in your own time.
Whether you're making them for your own Christmas tree or planning to gift them to someone special, there's something extra lovely about decorations made by hand.
No previous needle felting experience is necessary, so this is a wonderful opportunity to try something new, enjoy a little creative time out and get into the Christmas spirit.
Come on your own, bring a friend or make it a lovely festive outing together. As always at Little Lane, it's all about slowing down, enjoying the process and having a little fun along the way.
