Wet Felted Flowers and Vessels Workshop

Discover the beautiful art of wet felting in this relaxing, hands-on workshop where you'll learn to transform soft wool fibres into stunning felt flowers and sculptural vessels.

Guided by fibre artist Mirka Jakusova of A Pocket Full of Whimsy, you'll explore the wonderfully tactile process of wet felting using warm water, natural wool and traditional felting techniques. As the fibres begin to bind together beneath your hands, you'll create beautiful organic forms inspired by nature.

Throughout this inspiring workshop you'll learn how to prepare and layer wool fibres, understand which fibres work best for different projects, and master the techniques that allow you to shape, sculpt and strengthen your felted creations. Mirka will guide you every step of the way, sharing tips and techniques that will give you the confidence to continue exploring this timeless textile craft at home.

Whether you're completely new to felting or looking to expand your creative skills, this workshop offers a calming and rewarding experience. There is no pressure, no competition, just the joy of creating something uniquely your own.

By the end of the class you'll take home your own handcrafted felt flowers and sculptural wool vessel, along with the knowledge and inspiration to continue your wet felting journey.

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received.

Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.

We do require a minimum number of people to run each class. In the rare event we do not meet the minimum numbers required to run a class, you will be offered your choice of a class transfer to a new date or a full refund.

In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
