Have you ever fancied trying your hand at crochet?
Maybe there is something you have been itching to make but are unsure where to start.
There is no time like right now to start and under the guidance of experienced crochet artist Alison Thompson.
Please note: This is a technique based workshop for beginners. The focus of this class is on teaching you some basic stitches that once mastered, will give you the skills to make almost anything you put your hook to (with a bit of practice of course!).
This workshop does not result in a finished project.

These simple techniques will start you on the journey of crochet creativity….. with endless exciting opportunities.
All tools will be provided for this course, including your own hook and a selection of some different fibre choices (acrylic, wool, cotton). You will also receive a simple pattern to try at home using your new skills and a guide that explains all the terminology you will need to read patterns and start creating and drawings to help jog your memory after the class.
This is an adult open age class but is suitable for age 10 plus and no previous experience is necessary however children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
All materials and light refreshments will be provided.
