Explore the wonderful world of gouache and watercolour with a Hampton's inspired artwork 'Lemons in Blue Bowls' still life mixed media workshop with artist Sandy Cousens.

Whether you are a beginner or proficient this is a wonderful workshop for you explore:
  • an introduction to gouache and watercolour
  • understanding shadow and light
  • how to add depth to your artwork with shadows
  • tips and tricks on how to do fine detail brush work
  • how gouache and watercolour can be successfully used together
  • how a limited colour palette can create impact
*no drawing skills required as Sandy provides the stencil for you.

This is an adult open age class but is suitable for age 12 plus and no previous experience is necessary however children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

All materials and light refreshments will be provided.

Sandy Cousens is an experienced artist, tutor and art therapist and is excited to enjoy a wonderful creative time with you.
