Join us for this fun workshop with ceramicist Katie, and create yourself some beautiful little clay Village houses.

Under Katie's guidance, you will be hand making a magical little village of up to three beautiful ceramic houses (pending on how quickly you work). Just pop a tea light or some twinkling fairy lights inside to bring them to life.

We’ll supply some simple templates to help you create the basic shape for each house and then you can add on whatever decorations or design elements you can dream up - windows, roof tiles, doormats, chimneys… it’s all up to you!

Our workshop teacher Katie will give easy demonstrations to follow along, answer questions plus give you all the tips and techniques you need to create something you can treasure for years to come.

We will use a beautiful textured clay, perfect for hand forming and once it has dried and been through the initial firing it will be glazed in one of Katie’s studio glazes then put in for the final firing, ready for your home.

A visit to our creative studio and a little bit of clay play is the perfect way to slow down and create a lovely keepsake trio.

During this pottery workshop, Katie will guide you through:

Hand building techniques used in ceramics
How to shape and join clay
Decorative techniques for personalising your house
Tips for working confidently with clay

No previous pottery experience is required. This workshop is perfect for beginners and creative explorers alike.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE WORKSHOP

All pieces will be slow dried to minimise the risk of breakage, glazed with our signature glaze mix, and fired twice in the kiln to ensure durability.

Your finished pottery will be returned to the studio ready for collection once the firing process is complete.

Please allow up to 6 weeks for glazing and firing. We will contact you as soon as your pieces are ready to collect.

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received.

Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.

We do require a minimum number of people to run each class. In the rare event we do not meet the minimum numbers required to run a class, you will be offered your choice of a class transfer to a new date or a full refund.

In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
