Join our special Christmas Watercolour Magical Doors workshop and step into the festive sparkle of water colour with artist Sally Walsh of Sillier Than Sally Art Studio.
In this heart-warming Christmas workshop, you’ll paint a charming door adorned with seasonal decorations, creating your own wintery white Christmas scene that’s brimming with cheer.
Whether you’re completely new to watercolours or a seasoned creative looking to loosen up your style, this workshop is designed to be informative, merry, bright, and seriously fun, because art should make your heart as happy as fairy lights on a frosty night.
If you are not crazy for Christmas scenes, that’s ok - you can create your own themed door, it doesn’t have to be a Christmas Scene!
This is an adult open age class but is suitable for age 10 plus and no previous experience is necessary however children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
All materials and light refreshments will be provided.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER:
Sally Walsh
Sally Walsh is a colour-loving, watercolour artist from South Sydney who has been painting professionally for over 15 years. Through her creative business, Sillier Than Sally, she creates loose, vibrant, joy-filled artworks that never fail to spark a smile, and she delights in sharing the magic of watercolours with fellow creatives.
A passionate teacher, Sally has guided thousands of students through her online and in-person classes, encouraging them to embrace a “draw outside the lines” approach and revel in the playful unpredictability of watercolour. Her teaching style blends warmth, humour, and expert know-how, making every workshop as uplifting as it is informative.
When she’s not teaching, Sally keeps busy painting large-scale murals, illustrating children’s books, designing fabric collections, creating commissions, and even painting live at weddings. Her art can be found on walls - and in hearts - around the world.
