Join us for a relaxing and creative few hours learning how to make your very own Kokedama.

The ancient Japanese art of Kokedama (a form of Bonsai) involves wrapping and binding plants in moss and string, transforming them into stunning, living works of art. This mindful practice is both grounding and calming — the perfect way to spend a few hours while creating something beautiful for your home.

In this hands-on Kokedama workshop, Sonia will guide you step-by-step through the process of making your own moss ball plants. You’ll also learn how to fashion a twine hanger, plus simple care instructions so your Kokedama will thrive long after the workshop.

Each participant will make two Kokedama to take home, perfect for hanging around the house, decorating shelves, or adding to your growing indoor plant collection.

What’s Included:

  • All materials and tools to create 2 Kokedama
  • Step-by-step guidance from Sonia
  • Care instructions to keep your Kokedama flourishing
  • A fun, mindful, and creative experience

Whether you’re a plant lover, craft enthusiast, or simply looking for a relaxing activity, this Kokedama class in Sydney is perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike.
