Screen Printing Workshop: Create a Linen Tea Towel

With Artist Ashlea Vallance

Join us for a hands-on Screen Printing Workshop and design your very own vibrant 100% linen tea towel with artist Ashlea Vallance. This creative workshop is a relaxed and inspiring introduction to the art of screen printing, a technique that has been loved and refined for centuries.

Perfect for beginners and those looking to expand their creative skills, this workshop will guide you through the process of stencil design and cutting, layering shapes and patterns to create a striking two-colour print that’s completely unique.

You’ll work with eco-friendly, water-based inks, chosen for their rich colour and sustainability. Your design will be professionally heat-set, ensuring it remains vibrant and durable after washing — ready to be used and loved in your home.

What you’ll learn:

  • The fundamentals of screen printing

  • How to design and cut stencils

  • Layering techniques for two-colour prints

  • Printing on fabric using water-based inks

By the end of the session, you’ll take home your own beautifully printed linen tea towel, along with the confidence and skills to continue screen printing at home.
