About the Tutor: Natalia Basalaeva
Ceramic and glass artist Natalia Basalaeva originally hails from Russia but is based in Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, a thriving art city where she has developed her style and philosophy.
She graduated from art school in her youth, but applied herself to the field of economics before returning to her roots with a course in Interior Decoration in the International Design School in Moscow in 2014 after 10 years of auditing.
She specialises in glass and ceramic painting, having started the former in 2013. Constantly developing her work, Natalia is currently in a period of transition and evolving from her previous style. Framed paintings, mirrors, glassware, ceramics, and even clocks are all part of what she does. No surface is safe from her creative and wandering eye. And of course she loves to share her knowledge with others conducting her workshops in Sydney.
