Crochet Beginners Floor Rug Workshop Wednesday 19.02.20 6.30 - 9.30pm

  • Product Description

In this Beginner's Crochet Class, you will learn to create your own beautiful crochet round rug with Jodie Groeneveld from @sistahook.  Using the increasingly popular spaghetti or tshirt yarn she will show you how easy and quick it is to crochet your own beautiful floor or table decor.

Jodie will teach you the basic crochet stitches required to get started on making your round rug and how to read a pattern to crochet a rug as large or as small as you like.

The workshop price includes materials consisting of 1kg of spaghetti yarn (approx 130-150 metres) in a choice of neutral colours, a pattern and different size crochet hooks and a few small tools to keep your work neat and tidy, along with yummy treats.

Additional yarn will be available for purchase on the day that you can purchase should you wish to make a bigger rug as shown in the picture. (please note you will not have enough time in the 3 hour class to complete your rug.)

Yarn made from jersey (sometimes known as tshirt or spaghetti yarn ) is fantastic for crochet, knitting, macrame, and comes in a great variety of colours and has great stretch and recovery. It is one of those yarns that is brilliant for homewares as well as accessories such as bags and jewellery.
