Come and learn how to screen print in our Screen Printing 101 workshop with Leah Manwaring.
In this class (with a max of 6 students), we will explore a variety of hand printing and colour application techniques to create your own fabulous product using paper cut stencils.
We will cover screen printing on fabric, a brief history and appreciate some of the many influencers of designs.
Technically we will master the equipment, preparation and use of the screen; inks and colour selection. We will explore sustainable fabric choices and products we can print on.
We will combine the simple paper cut stencil with stickers and craft punches to explore multi-colour printing.
Focus will be on enjoying making your own surface designs with your final project printed on a linen tea towel!
All materials are provided and additional blank tea towels and cushion covers will be available to purchase on the day.
No experience is necessary.
Our address is Studio 4102 N.O 4 Daydream St Warriewood, NSW 2102.
