Come and join the divine Monique Montez of Deliberate Creation and create yourself a beautiful caramel coil macrame wall hanging.

You will learn how to create this stunning calming coil which represents a spiral of gratitude using beautifully crafted Australian made macramé mop cord, recycled cotton and woven over lux cream rope - all in a natural earthy caramel and golden palate.

You will also be guided with each turn of the cord, to add an affirmation - creating more than just a visual piece, but an art that speaks of love and gratitude.

This workshop includes a petite affirmations booklet, to create your own personal affirmations & connection within your calming coil.

Dimensions of the piece you will make.

47cm long x 22cm wide

No previous experience is necessary.

All materials are provided including nibbles & refreshments.

Please Note: The class on the 12th February 2022 will be held in Studio 2 which is upstairs and unfortunately does not have wheelchair access.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

For the past 26 years Monique has traveled the globe as a world class cabaret performer.

When Covid hit in March 2020, her entire career was put on hold. It ALL stopped. Overnight. She went to bed and didn’t get out. And then something clicked!

With a childhood of making and selling art pieces of many genres to earn enough to move to Sydney to start a performance career, Monique took the plunge to ‘pivot’ - as it has now become known – back to the world of Creative Art.
The pivot landed into the world of Fibre Art - a throwback to the origins of macrame – with Fibre Art being a TOTAL reinvention of its previous form.

"All the time thinking – who would have thought I would find my way back to life with this!"

The “this” then became Deliberate Creation - a deliberate intention of empowerment
through Covid and back to a life - to reclaim the spark of positivity she had lost for a
moment with the challenges of 2020.

Grateful for the pivot with thankfulness to all who have embraced Deliberate Creation.
