ABOUT THE TUTOR - Amy Sheridan
I am a botanical gypsy who fell in love with all things botanical at an early age. Growing up in the country my earliest floral memories are of making daisy chains that grew everywhere by the road, I would crown myself with a daisy crown or willow crown, with as many daisy necklaces and bracelets as I could and not much has changed. I was reawakened to my love of botanicals while I was living in Toronto, Canada. Since my return to Australia I have been exploring floral construction, wild foraging using unique materials from nature to inspire earthbound wild creations. I have a love of Australian natives, with a key focus on environmental sustainability. I have been challenging myself with foam free, sustainable floral designs utilising foraged or upcycled materials over the past 3years, and can’t wait to share my explorations with you.
